Homemade tuna and egg salad

Lately I have been craving for salads and since salads are healthier (depending on what ingredients are used), it's an excellent way for me to start my diet.

The ingredients in the salad are:-
1) Salad mix from Cold Storage
2) Tuna chunks in water
3) Boiled eggs
4) Chopped red apples

Salad dressing for 2 (ingredients all mixed together):-
1) 5 cloves garlic (chopped)
2) 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
3) 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt
4) 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
5) 1 lemon (squeezed for the juice)
6) A dash of black pepper and chopped parsley
7) 1 tablespoon of sugar free maple flavored syrup
8) A bit of water if you prefer the dressing to be not too thick

This is the first time we are making our own salad dressing and I'm glad it turned out well. I love the mustard taste!

If you do not have coconut oil, you can use olive oil but reduce it to only 1 tablespoon as the taste of coconut oil is much lighter than olive oil and will not mask the taste of other ingredients as much as olive oil.

I hope you would like this recipe after trying it too. :)
